Lillian has officially started on whole milk and is doing well with it. She drained it as usual. I was worried it would upset her stomach since she has been on the soy formula for so long. The transition could not of gone any better. Dave and I are thrilled we do not have to buy formula any more. I know I have said that numerous times. I’m a little excited. Can ya tell?? We will probably save enough each month to go on a vacation! Any takers on babysitting??? Haha!!
Lillian is still perfecting her walking skills. Her balance has gotten a lot better. She is able to catch herself before she falls. She loves walking outside in the warm sun. We have enjoyed this warm weather and hope it will stay. Aunt Hannah and cousin Browning came to visit us this past weekend. Lillian had a blast playing with Browning. She loved touching him and squealing at him. She walked circles around him for awhile. It was hilarious!! Browning is getting so big. He is almost as big as Lillian. When he starts walking Lillian is in trouble. We loved catching up with Aunt Hannah and cousin Browning. Hopefully we can go visit them at their home soon.
So Dave and I have started giving Lillian a sippy cup. The Dr. Brown bottles are great but I am sick of washing them and all their parts. Lillian is struggling a bit in the sippy cup department. She either just plays with it or pushes it away and screams. I have consulted with several friends about what to do. I have received some good tips so hopefully they will work. I am afraid we will have to quit cold turkey and have a fussy and hungry one on our hands. Never a good combo! Hope everyone is doing well. Come visit anytime! I will keep everyone posted on the sippy cup progress.

Mar
Lillian went for her 1 year checkup this morning. She is weighing in at 22.5lbs (75%) and is 30 inches long (90%). I really don’t know where her height is coming from. The doctor said she is doing wonderful and is right on track developmentally. He gave us the go ahead to start Lillian on whole milk!! WHOO!! NO MORE FORMULA! It will be a like a pay raise. Let’s hope and pray the transition will go smoothly. I am concerned.
