Chasing Lillian

So over the past few days Lillian has tried to see what all different objects she can sit in. I caught her sitting in a pink bucket that her Mimi gave her and in a large mixing bowl she got out of the cabinet. Of course I had to take some pictures. It was too funny. She is a mess. So let’s see where to start. Lillian went to a birthday party for her friend Kearstyn. She turned 3! She is getting so big. The party was at a place in Birmingham called Jump Zone. Super fun for kids! They have a big room with all kinds of inflatables for the kids to play on. Lillian really liked the moonwalk. She loved bouncing and jumping up and down. (see pictures in “look at us”) She was able to get a lot of energy out which made nap time easy!
Recently Lillian has become very fond of the swiffer dust mop. Maybe this is a sign she will be mommy’s little cleaning helper. That would be wonderful! She loves to get the dust mop out of the closet and walk around with it and occasionally drop it and say “uh oh”. “Uh Oh” is her new favorite phrase besides “bye bye”. So funny that out of all her toys she prefers the dust mop right now. I don’t get it? Lillian is talking so much gibberish now. It is SO much fun to just listen to her go on and on and on. She is so serious sometimes when she is jabbering away. I wish I knew what she was saying. One day I will and probably will wish I didn’t…haha! Lillian is really enjoying her rocking chair that Mrs. Burks painted for her. She loves to climb up in the chair and sit with a book and “read”. She looks so proud of herself when she gets in the chair all on her own.
Lillian has been spoiled this past week with having her two cousins Ellie and James in town. She has had a blast with both of them. Lillian and James were so much fun to watch play together. They chased each other around mimi’s house so many times. It was funny cause they thought the other was chasing them and they would end up running in opposite directions just laughing. I am so glad Lillian has cousins to play with that are close in age. I hope they will be good buddies. (Hannah little B and Lillian need a playdate soon) Well you would think I would have more exciting things to post about since it has been awhile but sadly can’t think of too much right now. I think mommy brain is kicking in. Oh Lillian will be starting a mother’s day out program this fall. Yay!! She will go just one day a week. I hope she will enjoy it and get something out of it.
